Mike
Hayes, Head Varsity Coach |

 Mike is entering
his fifth season as coach of the Titans. Over his first four years,
the Titans have a record of 85-38-11. Also in those first
four years, they have a District Runner-Up finish in 2005, a NHC
Championship in 2007 and the program’s first official State
Championship in 2007. He also earned Coach of the Year honors in
the NHC in 2007. Previous to coaching at SJJ, he served as a coach
in the SMAHL travel program for four years. |

 Markus is
entering his sixth season coaching at SJJ with a mix of being the
head coach of the JV team, and being an Assistant Varsity Coach. |

Jason
Szynkowski, Assistant Varsity Coach |
|
 This
will be Jason’s fifth season coaching, and his third year teaching
at SJJ. Previously, Jason played both varsity and club hockey for
Miami of Ohio while working towards a Bachelor’s of Science in
Middle Childhood Education which he earned in 2002. In addition,
Jason coached two seasons of club hockey for the Red Hawks while
pursuing a Master’s degree in Sports Administration as a graduate
assistant. A seasoned speaker for USA Hockey Coaches clinics,
Jason’s hockey experience also extends to summer hockey schools
where, after nine years, he continues to travel the Midwest working
Miami’s School, Defensemen Specialty Camps, and Checking/Scoring
Specialty Camps as both coach and director. |

Ben

This will be Ben’s eighth season in charge of SJJ’s goaltenders. He feels that
working with goalies one on one and his willingness to suit up
during practices is fundamental for goaltender development. He began
his coaching career with TOYHA and SMAHL.

Todd
Switala, Video Coach |
|
 This will be Todd's first season in as the Video Coach, returning to
the program after a four year absence. Todd lead the SJJ JV
program from 1996 - 2003; he was the Head Coach at Central
Catholic from 2003 - 2007. Todd is a 1984 graduate of SJJ and
a 1990 graduate of UT, with a degree in Psychology.

 Dan
Kennedy is currently a Senior at St. John’s Jesuit High School. This
is Dan’s fourth year as team manager with the Titan Hockey Team. He
played SMAHL house and all-star hockey for seven years. |
