1. Go to https://twitter.com/signup?commit=Join! to create an account.

2. Then click on Settings > Scroll down and Check the box to "Protect my tweets" > Click Save.

3. Then click on Settings > Mobile to set up your phone to recieve text messages.

4. After creating your account and setting up your mobile phone go here http://twitter.com/stjjh and Click on Follow.

5. That's it!

After you set up your account on-line exactly as detailed above, perform the following 5 steps on your cell phone:

1. Send the following text message to 40404: START

Twitter should send the following text message:

Welcome to Twitter.  Reply with SIGNUP to begin.

Already on Twitter? Reply with your ‘USERNAME’ instead.

2. If you already registered on-line then reply to Twitter’s message with the same username that you used on-line.  Reply with:

Your username here

Twitter should send the following text message:

Hi ‘your username’.  Reply with your password to tweet on this phone.

3. Reply to Twitter’s message with the same password that you used when you registered on-line.  (Note: Passwords are case sensitive.  Most cell phones will automatically capitalize the first letter of your password.  You must override this feature or change your password on-line to start with uppercase.) Reply with:

Your password here

Twitter should send the following text message:

Your password is correct!  Reply w/ OK to confirm you want to use Twitter with this phone.

4. Reply to Twitter’s message with: OK

Twitter should send the following text message:

Your password is correct!  You’re all set up to use Twitter with this phone.  Type a Tweet anytime just send it to this number.

5. Reply to Twitter’s message with:

Follow stjjh   (Don’t forget the ‘t’)

Twitter’s final response should look something like this:

You’re now following stjjh.  You will now see their Tweets on your phone.
